To resolve the issues found during the inspection, we first removed all compromised insulation and debris to clear the space for remediation and improvements. We then applied a hydrogen peroxide treatment to eliminate mold growth and sanitize all affected surfaces. To address the underlying moisture problems, we installed a complete drainage system including a drain pipe, sump basin, sump pump, and discharge line to actively manage water intrusion. We sealed all foundation vent openings and porch areas using rigid foam board insulation to prevent outside air and moisture from entering. For thermal efficiency, we installed a 3/8” or 375 Mil Insulated Liner on the foundation walls, providing an R-5 insulation value, and covered the crawl space floor with a 38 Mil 100% Reinforced Liner with taped seams for a durable moisture barrier. A high-efficiency dehumidifier was added to control humidity, and we replaced the HVAC supply/return ductwork and register runs to ensure clean, efficient airflow. All work is protected by a Lifetime Transferrable Warranty.

To address the sagging and uneven floors, we implemented a targeted structural reinforcement solution. We installed a heavy-duty steel beam beneath the affected area to provide solid, long-term support and redistribute the weight of the floor system evenly. To further stabilize and lift the floor back to its proper level, we installed PowerPost floor supports, which are adjustable and designed to correct and maintain floor alignment over time. To address the homeowner's crawlspace issues, we implemented a comprehensive solution. We installed a drain pipe system to redirect water away from the foundation, along with a sump basin and sump pump to collect and remove standing water. A discharge line was also installed to ensure proper water redirection. Additionally, we encapsulated the crawlspace to prevent future moisture intrusion. This crawlspace started out as a large unusable space for the home owner. With this space being over 2,500 square feet and a minimum of 5 feet tall, it would make the ideal space for extra storage for the homeowner. After meeting with the homeowner and listening to their concerns and wants for the space, Crawlspace Doctor presented a plan to create the ideal space to meet the needs, wants and expectations for the homeowner. With this particular project the customer chose the worlds strongest vapor barrier to be placed on the ground for optimal strength and durability. A full encapsulation of the crawlspace was chosen to ensure peak performance to control humidity and to prevent fungal growth for the health of the home. A full water mitigation system was also installed to ensure the crawlspace would be free of any standing water for future. The homeowner wanted to install shelving for small item storage, so Crawlspace Doctor created a plan to build a wooden platform to ensure a sturdy level space for portable shelving and work space for the homeowner. During the initial review of the crawlspace, the door was a small 3x3 metal door installed by the original builder and the customer wanted to have a full-size door to access the space easier. Crawlspace Doctor customized the door size in the brick veneer to a standard exterior door size and installed an exterior steel door, painted to match the other exterior doors of the home.
