A homeowner reached out to us after our inspection revealed concerning conditions in their crawlspace. On the day of the inspection, we observed evidence of hydrostatic pressure and standing water, which had led to light to moderate fungal growth on the framing system. This discovery prompted the homeowner to seek our expertise in addressing these issues and finding a solution to prevent future problems

Solutions provided:

To address the homeowner's crawlspace issues, we implemented a comprehensive solution. We installed a drain pipe system to redirect water away from the foundation, along with a sump basin and sump pump to collect and remove standing water. A discharge line was also installed to ensure proper water redirection. Additionally, we encapsulated the crawlspace to prevent future moisture intrusion. To maintain a dry environment, a dehumidifier was installed. Finally, a custom-built crawlspace door was added to complete the project and provide long-term protection for the home.
