A homeowner contacted us after noticing ongoing humidity issues in their crawlspace. Upon inspection, we found high moisture levels and fungal growth throughout the area, which measured between three to five blocks high.
To resolve the issues in the crawlspace, we began by installing a high-quality encapsulation system to create a sealed barrier against moisture and improve overall air quality. This heavy-duty liner helps protect the home’s foundation from future water intrusion and humidity-related damage. We also addressed structural concerns by doubling two floor joists to add strength and stability where needed. To complete the project, we custom-built a new crawlspace door, replacing the old metal one to provide a secure, weather-resistant entry point that complements the encapsulated environment.
