A homeowner contacted us during the construction of their new home, looking for a reliable solution to control moisture and humidity in the crawlspace. They wanted to ensure the space remained dry and protected from the start to prevent future problems such as mold growth, wood rot, and structural damage. By addressing moisture control early in the building process, the homeowner was focused on creating a healthy, energy-efficient foundation for their home.
To provide long-term moisture and humidity control for the newly constructed home, we fully encapsulated the crawlspace to create a sealed environment that blocks ground moisture and prevents outside air from entering. We installed a high-efficiency dehumidifier to actively regulate humidity levels, helping to protect the home’s structural components and improve indoor air quality. To complete the system, we custom-built and installed a durable, weather-resistant crawlspace door, ensuring the space remained securely sealed and easily accessible for future maintenance.
