A homeowner contacted us after noticing that the floors in their bathroom were beginning to sag and feel uneven. Concerned about potential structural issues, they requested an inspection to determine the cause of the problem. The homeowner wanted to ensure their bathroom remained safe and stable, and was looking for a solution that would address any underlying issues contributing to the sagging floor.
To correct the sagging bathroom floors, we installed a steel beam to provide strong, centralized support beneath the affected area. This beam redistributed the weight load and reinforced the structural integrity of the floor system. We then added PowerPost floor supports beneath the beam to provide adjustable, long-term stabilization and prevent further settling. To secure the floor joists and ensure proper alignment, we installed joist hangers, helping to lock the framing components in place and restore a level, stable floor surface in the bathroom.
