The inspector noted signs of high humidity and water intrusion caused by hydrostatic pressure, raising concerns about potential damage to the foundation and indoor air quality. Solutions provided:

To resolve the homeowner's crawlspace issues, we implemented a comprehensive moisture management and structural protection plan. A drainage pipe system was installed to redirect water away from the crawlspace, paired with a sump pump and basin to efficiently collect and remove water caused by hydrostatic pressure. A discharge line was added to safely carry water away from the foundation, preventing further intrusion. To eliminate excess humidity, we encapsulated the crawlspace with a durable vapor barrier and installed a high-capacity dehumidifier to maintain optimal moisture levels. Finally, we crafted a custom crawlspace door to provide a secure and airtight seal, further protecting the area from external elements.
