A homeowner recently reached out to us expressing interest in encapsulating their crawlspace. They were concerned about moisture issues, musty odors, and the potential for mold growth, all of which can affect indoor air quality and the overall health of their home. After doing some research, they decided that crawlspace encapsulation would be a proactive step toward creating a cleaner, more energy-efficient living environment. They contacted us to learn more about the process, get professional recommendations, and receive a quote for the project.

To address the homeowner’s concerns and ensure a long-lasting solution, we implemented a comprehensive crawlspace encapsulation and support system. Our team began by installing our R-5 Insulated Encapsulation System, complete with a durable 15-mil floor liner to seal out moisture and improve energy efficiency. A custom-built PVC crawlspace door was added to provide secure, long-term access while maintaining the integrity of the seal. To control humidity and prevent mold growth, we installed the high-performance Sierra Watchdog NXT 120 dehumidifier. For structural support, a steel beam and PowerPost floor support were added to reinforce and stabilize the flooring above. To protect the investment and ensure ongoing performance, the homeowner also enrolled in our Annual Maintenance & Inspection Service, giving them peace of mind that their crawlspace will remain dry, clean, and structurally sound year-round.
