The homeowner reached out to our team after recognizing the need to have their crawlspace properly cleaned and protected. They were aware of potential issues such as moisture buildup, mold growth, and poor air quality, and specifically requested soda blasting and encapsulation as a long-term solution. Wanting to ensure the space beneath their home was both clean and sealed off from future problems, they contacted us for a professional assessment and estimate. We scheduled an inspection to evaluate the current condition of the crawlspace and confirm the best approach to restore it into a dry, healthy, and well-protected environment.

To fully address the moisture concerns and prepare the crawlspace for long-term protection, our team installed a comprehensive drainage and encapsulation system. We began by adding a drainage pipe to effectively collect and direct groundwater to a newly installed sump pump basin. A 1/3 HP sump pump was then installed to actively remove any accumulated water, with a discharge line ensuring it is safely directed away from the home. After resolving the water intrusion, we applied a professional hydrogen peroxide treatment to sanitize and eliminate any remaining bacteria or organic growth. We then installed an R-5 insulated encapsulation system with a durable 15 mil floor liner to seal the crawlspace from ground moisture and outside air. To maintain optimal humidity levels year-round, we completed the system with a Sierra Watchdog NXT 85-pint dehumidifier, ensuring the space remains dry, clean, and protected.
