A homeowner recently contacted us to request an inspection of the crawl space in a home he had just purchased. After completing a thorough inspection, we implemented a comprehensive solution to address the issues found in the crawl space. We began by removing the existing insulation, which had been compromised and was contributing to moisture concerns. Next, we sealed off exterior vents and installed a durable 14Mil vapor barrier to effectively control ground moisture and improve overall air quality. To further regulate humidity levels, we installed a Sierra Watchdog NXT 85-pint dehumidifier, ensuring the space remains dry and protected year-round. Finally, we custom-built and installed a secure PVC crawlspace door, providing a tight seal and long-lasting durability. Together, these improvements created a cleaner, more controlled environment and gave the homeowner lasting peace of mind.
