• Comment: Our crawl space was a complete train wreck. The duct work was sweating, the HVAC handler was dripping, puddles of water were everywhere, mold was growing on the joists and there was a funky smell. We could even smell the crawl space inside the house. I considered working on the crawl space myself. I researched crawl space encapsulation and removed the fiberglass insulation myself. However, my wife convinced me that encapsulation was best left to the professionals. I contacted several contractors for bids. Nick with Crawl Space Doctor arrived and crawled through our mess to give us an estimate. I could tell right away he knew what he was taking about. He fully explained what was causing our problems and offered several options. Although, it certainly wasn’t cheap, the cost was reasonable for the condition of our crawl space. Nick even gave us a hygrometer and said it was ours to keep whether or not we accepted the bid.
