We installed a full-perimeter drainage pipe to capture water along the entire foundation and direct it into a sump pump basin, then set a reliable 1/3 HP sump pump and routed the discharge line away from the home to prevent recirculation. With water management in place, we sealed the crawlspace using an R-5 insulated encapsulation system paired with a heavy-duty 15 mil floor liner to block ground vapor and reduce temperature swings that feed condensation. To keep humidity consistently in the safe zone year-round, we added a Sierra Watchdog NXT 85-pint dehumidifier.
